2017 at OPH

Happy New Year from OPH!

2017 was a great year here at the Oregon Public House. We are proud to have collaborated with 12 new rotating GIVE menu partners and 30 Charity of the Day partners. With December's check yet to be written OPH donated more than $39,711 this year, bringing our grand total to $161,930!

Another calendar year has passed and OPH has been busy creating partnerships to provide fundraising support and spread the word about amazing organizations in our community!

We fondly remember working with 2017's rotating partners: Children's Book Bank, VOA's Family Relief Nursery, Northwest Earth Institute, PDX Jobs with Justice, Outgrowing Hunger, Know Your City. Building Blocks 2 Success, Call to Safety, The Family Room, Growing Gardens, Odd Man Inn and Rock 'n' Roll Camp for Girls.

From all of us at the pub, we wish them the best this year and hope to stay connected as they continue to do excellent work in the Portland area!

Applications to become a GIVE menu partner will be available on our Facebook in the beginning of February for 2018's second set of partners... stay tuned!
For those of you who've made it into the pub already this year, you've probably noticed our unique GIVE Menu this month. We have just one partner for January: our lovely environs, the Woodlawn neighborhood itself!

In collaboration with the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association and Pacific Northwest College of Art, OPH is supporting the creation of an art piece that celebrates the history and culture of this area. We invite you to come in and learn more!
We were also lucky enough to co-host 30 Charity of the Day events with other amazing nonprofits, raising thousands of dollars, and we have received exciting updates from several groups.

Deaf Dogs of Oregon reported that they raised two thirds of their average yearly operating budget, more than six times their previous single-day fundraising record!

Passport Oregon shared that with the money raised they will be able to take three more nature trips with ten children each, which means 120 more hours of exploration!

Girls Build let us know that they raised enough money to provide ten additional summer camp scholarships for low-income participants!
